Birmingham's McFadden open to Celtic move

Birmingham City midfielder James McFadden is ready to talk about the possibilities of making a move to Celtic this summer.

The 28-year old Scotland international has again been linked with a move to Parkhead this week and SunSport suggests that he is pondering a Scottish Premier League return after commencing his career with Motherwell in 2000.

Birmingham are reportedly bracing themselves for an offer from the Hoops as manager Neil Lennon looks to strengthen his squad which lost out in the title race to Rangers last season.

The relegated English club has the option to trigger a clause in McFadden's contract but with so much interest from Celtic, Alex McLeish may listen to any offers to see what sort of money he could get for the ex-Everton man.
