Birmingham City midfielder Sebastian Larsson looks set to land at Blackburn Rovers after a mooted move to Newcastle United fell over.
The Swedish winger is out of contract in the summer and is keen to depart St Andrews and it looks as though the Rovers have won the race for his signature.
But Larsson will wait until that time before he puts pen to paper, preferring to see the current campaign out with the Blues.
This will now provide a slight issue for Alex McLeish who just brought in David Bentley from Tottenham and will now need to juggle the right-sided midfielders.
