Dundee United defender Garry Kenneth is a target for Birmingham City.

The News of the World says United knocked back two bids from Blackpool in January - the latter believed to be £500,000 - but Brum boss Alex McLeish is prepared to go the extra mile to get his man with a £1 million offer.

Kenneth's current deal runs until 2012 but United won't turn down a seven-figure sum for the 22-year-old.
