Birmingham are believed to have made a final 'take-it-or-leave-it' offer for Cardiff defender Roger Johnson, reports the Birmingham Mail. Having had an initial £3.5million bid turned down three weeks ago, reports in Wales suggest the Blues have returned with an improved bid for the 26 year old centre-half.

The new offer, made on Friday, is said to be worth, with add-ons, £5m.
