Birmingham have concluded a deal for Spanish international Borja Oubina.

The 25-year-old has shunned interest from Benfica and Manchester City over the last week but now Birmingham have concluded a deal.

It is believed the twice-capped Celta Vigo man will move to St Andrews on an initial season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

"I'm happy because I'm going to play in such a powerful and attractive league as the English one," Oubina told Spanish news agency Efe.

"It's true that I would have liked Celta to transfer me and not go out on loan but the club didn't want that."
