Birmingham City midfielder Alex Hleb says he had no chance at Barcelona because he wasn't Spanish.
Hleb spoke of his frustration at not being included in the starting line-up for the Spanish champions.
He said: "Barcelona is the biggest club in the world but it is difficult when you are not from Spain.
"It has happened with everybody - with Thierry Henry, everyone. Pep Guardiola picks the Spanish players.
"I've not had a lot of chances to play there and I would prefer to stay in the Premier League."
