Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is determined to land Celtic winger Aiden McGeady in January.
The People says Scottish football's dire financial situation means that all Celtic players are available at the right price and, for McGeady, that would be around £6 million.
McGeady was on Bayern Munich's shortlist in the summer as they prepared to lose Franck Ribery, but when the Frenchman stayed put, so did the Irish international.
Should McGeady be made available, Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp may also come in for the midfielder.
