Birmingham midfielder Michel has joined Spanish La Liga side Getafe for an undisclosed fee. The 25-year-old Spaniard, who joined Blues from Sporting Gijon in January 2010, leaves St Andrew's after making just 12 appearances.

He spent time on loan at Greek side AEK Athens last season.

A club statement read: "Blues would like to thank Michel for his time at the club and wish him well for the future."
