Birmingham City are chasing former Ajax winger Daniel De Ridder.

Brum boss Steve Bruce is hoping to lure De Ridder, 23, from Celta Vigo in a £2.5million deal.

De Ridder, who has a Dutch father and Israeli mother, starred for the Under-21s in this month's European Championships.

He scored and missed a penalty in the epic shootout against England and earned rave reviews. The Dutch ace is keen to leave Spain.
