Birmingham City are moving for Premier League target Mounir El Hamdaoui.
Chris Hughton is interested in signing El Hamdaoui on loan - if he can shift Nikola Zigic off his wage bill.
Zigic is costing Birmingham City £50,000-a-week and has been offered to Espanyol until the end of the season.
El Hamdaoui has been a target for Fulham and West Ham in recent months.
