Birmingham City midfielder Alex Hleb wants a return to the Bundesliga.
The former Arsenal star is on-loan at St Andrew's from Barcelona.
"I would love to be rejoining a club in the Bundesliga," he told BILD.
"The league has been making a huge progress. Schalke is a great example of that - progressing to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
"If my heart could decide, I would be moving back to Stuttgart.
"However, I am unable to decide this as I am under contract with Birmingham City and have a deal left at Barcelona until June 2012."
