Birmingham City are to offer £2 million for Bolton Wanderers defender Danny Shittu.
The Daily Express says Birmingham boss Alex McLeish wants to bring Nigerian international Shittu to St Andrews even if he fails in his promotion mission.
Shittu, 28, has struggled to hold down a place at Bolton and Gary Megson will allow him to leave at the end of the season.
