Birmingham City striker Chris Wood insists the players have nothing to do with the current off-field problems of the club.
The owner of the West Midlands outfit, Carson Yeung, is facing money laundering allegations in his native Hong Kong and has seen the club fall into recent debt.
But New Zealand international Wood, on loan from Premier League club West Bromwich Albion, says the playing group simply go about their business as they try to get the Blues straight back up to England's top flight.
"We have nothing to do with that aspect of the club; it simply is not our job," he told tribalfootball.com.
"We stay out of it and concentrate on getting the club promoted."
Wood has been impressive during his stint at St Andrews, scoring 10 goals in all competitions since joining in August.
