Birmingham City goalkeeper Joe Hart says he owes his improvement to manager Alex McLeish.
The on-loan Manchester City keeper reckons it's his boss' background as a craggy centre-half that is helping him grow up so fast.
He said: "The manager talked to me at the start of the season about things he wanted me to improve at. Just all round stuff to do with game awareness and how to play as a team player.
"It was not because I was selfish before, but he talked to me about how to relate to what is going on in terms of the game, like when the defenders need me and when they don't."
