Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland has rejected a move to Chelsea.

The Daily Mail says Butland has rejected the chance to join Chelsea.

The England international was given permission to talk to the European champions yesterday ahead of a projected £3million move but, while flattered by their interest, Butland has opted to stay at St Andrews.

Desperate Birmingham need the cash to stay afloat but Butland had reservations about his long-term prospects and wants to play regularly if he moves.
