Birmingham City are set to trigger an option in goalkeeper Colin Doyle's contract.
The Blues have made it clear that they are keen to retain the 25-year old one-time capped Republic of Ireland international and will activate the two-year option written into his first deal at St Andrews.
Doyle has made just two appearances for Birmingham since the start of the 2009/10 season but has beaten off competition from Maik Taylor for the number two spot behind Ben Foster and will remain in the Second City for the time being.
