Birmingham given new hope in Vieira pursuit
Birmingham City could be back in the mix for ex-Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.
Brum chairman David Gold confirmed over the weekend they had held talks with the Inter Milan midfielder about a return to England, but admitted they were set to miss out due to interest from PSG.
However, PSG coach Antoine Kombouaré revealed this morning: "For now, Vieira is not valid, because he is not on the same wavelength as us regarding our financial plan."
