Birmingham City have reportedly ended their pursuit of Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia.
The Blues had seen the Latics reject an £8million plus add-ons deal last week but with Roberto Martinez's men wanting close to double, the midlands club have dropped their interest says chief executive Peter Pannu.
"We have had an offer rejected for the player and our valuations are different," he told the Express and Star.
"We don't think it's right to go any higher at this stage so therefore we withdraw."
Birmingham have already spent close to £12m on goalkeeper Ben Foster and striker Nikola Zigic to splash out a further £15m on one player would be a bit of a stretch.
