Birmingham City face competition from Werder Bremen for Cartagena striker Toche.
The 27 year-old is off contract in June and Werder are keen to secure him on a Bosman.
Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is expected to revive his interest in Toche, having failed in a bid for the forward last summer.
Toche intends to leave Segunda Liga Cartagena and is ready to test himself abroad.
