Birmingham City defender Curtis Davies says Everton fullback Leighton Baines has the best left foot in the country.
Davies was team-mates with Baines for England Under-21s and told evertonfc.com that the diminutive defender has one of the best left feet in the business.
"He's top drawer, he's one of those players that in training never used to give the ball away and it's the old saying 'he's got a left foot that could open a can of beans'," Davies said.
"I don't think I've seen many better left feet than his.
"Being small people might think that he's only good going forward but he's actually a very good defender as well - he's very intelligent in the way he defends.
"I'm glad to see he's doing well, obviously he's gone from being in the Under-21s with me to becoming a full international and I wish him all the best."
