Birmingham City defender Scott Dann is on his way back from injury.

Dann, who has been sidelined due to a calf strain, played for 45 minutes in last week's 6-0 hammering at West Ham United.

Manager Alex McLeish said: "He came through okay. He did quite well.

"I know the boys took a beating but it was a bit of a mis-match with young players at the back and unfortunately that will happen to us when you don't quite have the experience and the quality.

"But Dann came through well and we need to try and get him more minutes now."
