Birmingham City defender Scott Dann says teammate Joe Hart is the best England goalkeeper going around.

Dann predicts on-loan Manchester City keeper Hart should be going to the World Cup finals.

"Is he the best English 'keeper around at the moment? I think so," the defender told the Birmingham Mail. "He showed in the Chelsea and Stoke games, when he's called upon he produces world-class saves.

"Having played with him for a while now, I know how good he is and he's still young and can improve. Hopefully he will be on the plane to South Africa.

"He's got lots of strong points, not just shot-stopping. He talks to you as well, he let's you know where he is. If you need him, he's always there to help you out."
