Birmingham City are ready to cough up for Cristian Benitez.
The Sunday Mirror says Birmingham are closing in on the £6.25million signing of Benitez despite a bust-up with his agent Barry McIntosh over the deal.
But City have agreed the price with Mexican club Santos Leguna for the Ecuador striker, 23.
