Experienced midfielder Lee Carsley has completed his free transfer move from Everton to Birmingham after passing a medical at St Andrews.
The 34-year-old Republic of Ireland international agreed a two-year deal with Blues last month after turning down a new contract at Goodison Park.
Carsley is Alex McLeish's first summer signing following Birmingham's relegation to the Championship.
Birmingham-born Carsley, who has 38 caps to his name, joined the Toffees from Coventry in 2002 having previously played for Derby and Blackburn.
