Birmingham City coaches Eric Black and Keith Bertschin were at Pittodrie last night to see Aberdeen's 1-1 draw with Lokomotiv Moscow.

The pair travelled to Scotland to check on their 18 year-old striker Sone Aluko and Blues boss Steve Bruce revealed: "Sone's got in the team and sparkled and the experience he's getting there is exactly what we wanted.

"He had a couple of niggles so he didn't figure straightaway but he's making people sit up and take notice now."
