Birmingham City are on the verge of securing the signature of Crystal Palace youngster Nathaniel Clyne.
The 19-year old right-back is set to move to the West Midlands for £2million when Alex McLeish returns to Selhurst Park with an improved bid after a £1.5million offer was recently rejected.
Cash-strapped Palace are reportedly holding out for as much as they can get whilst the Brum are keen on strengthening their squad with a quality youngster.
