Birmingham City chief Peter Pannu admits they're unhappy with the failure of their summer signings to make an impact.
Pannu says the players brought in so far under new owner Carson Yeung have failed to make an impression, although he insists no-one is being blamed.
Pannu told the Birmingham Mail: "There have been fans and others questioning Carson's spending of money in this window.
"He has so far in total spent £26.3million since his arrival.
"Unfortunately, most of the purchases have not played much and have not substantially improved the team directly.
"There are no blames here against anybody. These things do happen.
"Equally, no-one can blame him if he feels he is not sure if his money is well spent and that if it is translated into league positions.
"Alex McLeish has worked very hard with the board to improve the team but injuries to players have not been too helpful in this cause."
