Birmingham City are chasing Portsmouth goalkeeper James Ashdown.
The Mirror says the keeper, 28, has one-year left at Fratton Park but has turned down a new deal.
Ashdown wants to move for regular football after losing his place to David James.
And Brum, second in the Championship, are lining up a new keeper.
