Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish may seek to buy Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster at the end of the season.
The Mirror says McLeish is now looking around for alternative keepers as Joe Hart seems set to return to Manchester City after his successful spell at St. Andrews.
McLeish may be interested in a buy - depending on the price - but his preferred route to landing Foster would be a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent switch.
Foster would welcome some Premier League action after being sidelined for most of this campaign and falling foul of the manager who has demoted him from England World Cup hopeful to third choice.
