Birmingham City boss Harry Redknapp is chasing Everton winger Aaron Lennon.
The Liverpool Echo says various reports this morning suggest Redknapp could offer Lennon the chance of more regular first-team football this season by taking the 30-year-old on loan.
Lennon, who enjoyed his best years at Tottenham under Redknapp, was on the fringes of Ronald Koeman's thinking last season before he was hospitalised for treatment for mental health issues.
Lennon returned to preseason training earlier this month, however, despite being one of the few wide players remaining in the Everton squad, his prospects appear slim at Goodison and a move down a tier could be an enticing.
