Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce admits there's no prospect of signing on-loan Arsenal defender Johan Djourou permanently.

"I have been chasing Johan for a long long time and must have made about 30,000 calls," admitted Bruce, who plans to hand Djourou his debut in today's trip to Chelsea.

"He has got everything - strength, pace and can play at the back or in midfield and I think he will be an Arsenal centre-half for ten years."
