Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish won't go "crazy" with his new transfer warchest.

Brum owner Carsen Yeung has made £40 million available to Eck for the January market.

McLeish confirmed: "The owners have told me there is money to spend.

"The squad is fragile and we need to strengthen but I am not going to go crazy. I don't think it's necessary to spend millions.

"This is not Manchester City."
