Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has helped Aberdeen clinch a loan deal for Udinese defender Nikola Vujadinovic.
The former Montenegro Under-21 cap agreed a loan move to Aberdeen from Serie A side Udinese on transfer deadline day, but was initially denied a permit due to a lack of international honours.
But after an appeal backed by Alex McLeish, who had the player on trial in his time at Rangers, the defender has been cleared to make his debut against Dundee United.
He said: "I'm relieved as it looked like I might not get to sign. Now I'm here till January and, if it all goes well, hopefully for the whole season."
