Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish says the club's former owners got it wrong winding up Brum fans ahead of tonight's clash with West Ham United.
Indeed, big Eck hints he's happy he doesn't have to manage the public outbursts of David Sullivan and David Gold anymore.
He said: "The spokesman for the football side should be the manager.
"The game has changed, it's showbiz. We're in the biggest league in the world and it stands to reason owners who put their money into clubs should have a say.
"But there must be demarcation lines in terms of team spirit and togetherness. Those lines were crossed at Birmingham."
