Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish was satisfied with the debut of Curtis Davies in defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
Davies stepped in for his first Blues start since joining from Aston Villa in January.
McLeish told bcfc.com: "Curtis Davies making his debut I thought he did very well first half and in the second half the goals started to come but unfortunately not for us and the way we defended those goals was difficult to take.
"We did well in getting right back into it but again we defended crazily for the next two goals."
