Birmingham boss McLeish closing in on Civelli

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish has made a personal check on Marseille defender Renato Civelli.

McLeish was in the South of France last week to watch Civelli.

McLeish wanted a first-hand look at Bosman prospect Civelli after receiving glowing reports on the 25-year-old Argentine.
