Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton has enquired about taking Tottenham defender Danny Rose on loan.
The Blues boss is looking to strengthen his squad for the business end of the season and the Spurs left-back has emerged as a target after the loss of Liam Ridgewell to West Bromwich Albion on deadline day although a deal seems unlikely.
"What I can tell you is he is a player we have enquired about but I think Tottenham are keen to keep him there," Hughton revealed to the Birmingham Mail.
