Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton hasn't made a decision on West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood.

Hughton has yet to decide whether to try to extend Wood's loan spell, but says the channels of communication with West Brom are always open.

"We've been in regular conversations with West Brom, and at the moment we have him until the 5 January," said Hughton on the club's official website.

"It's a decision we have to make and West Brom have to make and we are in continuous dialogue with them.

"He's a young man who has done very well for us, although he's had his ups and downs in form as you will do when you're 19 or 20 years of age."
