Birmingham City boss Chris Hughton insists Jack Butland is not for sale.

The England goalkeeper has been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal.

"We certainly see a role here for Jack and we certainly see someone who is capable of challenging for the number one spot," Hughton told the Sunday Mercury.

"But that, of course, will be decided around everything else that happens here and the goalkeeping situation.

"We are all aware the situation revolves around Ben Foster and, at this moment, I don't know when that will be resolved."
