Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish singled out James McFadden for praise after their draw with Liverpool.

Big Eck is still bristling over claims in Scotland that McFadden is a luxury player.

McLeish said: "James has been a talisman for Scotland for so long, to suggest he is lazy is nonsense. He worked hard there and again here."
