Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish says Kevin Phillips will keep his starting place for the clash with Blackburn Rovers.
Phillips struck in the win against Bolton Wanderers last week.
Eck said: "I've got a player in this half of the season that's looking really fresh.
"The guys have played a lot of games but Kevin is looking very bright."
