Birmingham City boss Lee Clark is eager to keep hold of on-loan Newcastle United fullback Shane Ferguson.

Ferguson has made a great impact since arriving in the second city.

Clark said: "I am going to get down on my hands and knees to my old club - if he's not going to be part of what they're doing - to try and keep him for the whole of next season.

"I think he's proved to be an unbelievable asset for us, both at left-back and left wing."
