Clark insists he is not angry about his dismissal by Huddersfield last February and he intends to seek out chairman and friend Dean Hoyle to shake his hand.
He said: “I’ll probably go looking for Dean to be honest.
“I’ll shake his hand and speak with him without a doubt. It’s no problem. I had a good relationship with Dean. I still keep in touch with him, he’s a terrific person.
“I’m a big boy — I understand what happened. But I was disappointed because I’d lost what I enjoyed doing. It was the first time since I’d left school that I hadn’t been involved in football.”
