Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce won't rule out extending the loan of Arsenal defender Johan Djourou.

The Swiss international was expected to return to the Emirates Stadium in January but Blues are optimistic of arranging a longer deal with the Gunners.

Asked if Djourou would be leaving after Christmas Bruce replied: "Maybe not, we don't know yet.

"It's open so I want Arsenal to keep winning."
