Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce faces Middlesbrough today - and long-term transfer target Mido.

Mido left Spurs for Boro after rejecting a move to St Andrew's.

Bruce said: "He was one we were chasing all summer and then it slipped away at the end. He's got two in two and hit the post and I'm not surprised."
