Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce is confident his new signings will blend quickly with the club's existing squad.

Bruce has already signed Fabrice Muamba (Arsenal), Stuart Parnaby (Middlesbrough), Garry O'Connor (Lokomotiv Moscow) and Olivier Kapo (Juventus) since gaining promotion from the Coca-Cola Championship in May.

He said: "I think everyone knows that we've changed it around quite dramatically. With this group I know I can sleep easy at night. They have talent, a fantastic spirit amongst them.

"We all saw the endeavour and attitude last season in difficult circumstances.

"I am sure that the new arrivals will fit in right away and add similar sort of qualities to those who brought us back up. What I'd say to our supporters is get right behind the most important people at the club for me, that is these players."
