Birmingham, Blackburn target Dindane to SMASH FIFA's transfer windows

Aruna Dindane could quit Portsmouth next week.

The Mirror says Portsmouth face the loss of striker Aruna Dindane in the next week - with French side Lens demanding a payment for him or he leaves.

The Ivory Coast World Cup striker will quit Fratton Park if the £3.5million due for his transfer is not received.

Dindane and Lens will go to FIFA - and the Premier League - in a bid to find a new club in England next week, despite the window being shut.

Lens think they have a strong case and are ready to withdraw Dindane from Portsmouth and try to push ahead with a sale to a rival club, with Blackburn, Birmingham, Wolves, Stoke and Bolton all interested.

Dindane missed out on moves to Sam Allardyce's Rovers and Alex McLeish's Blues before the window shut and they both may come back into the equation.

FIFA would have to make a ruling on any new move as it threatens to shoot a great hole in the transfer window system. But Pompey's financial problems have caused the trouble.
