Birmingham City remain confident of snapping up Arsenal defender Johan Djourou on-loan.
Swiss defender Djourou, 20, is highly rated by the Gunners and has made 24 Premiership starts for the club - but manager Arsene Wenger wants him to get more top-flight experience.
Wenger has a rapport with City boss Steve Bruce after loaning him Fabrice Muamba, Nicklas Bendtner and Sebastian Larsson.
