Barry Ferguson feels he's silenced his critics thanks to his success at Birmingham City.
The former Rangers captain has rebuilt his career at St Andrew's.
Ferguson, 32, said: "I went through a rough patch 18 months ago which everyone knows about. I had a few clubs interested, but the gaffer phoned, said I should come down to Birmingham and stick it up people.
"That's what I've done. I've always believed I could do well down here.
"Birmingham is not the most fashionable club in the world, but I've tried to achieve things and what we did last season was great.
"I'm not getting carried away because we are up against Arsenal who are the best footballing team in Europe, apart from Barcelona.
"But we have to go to Wembley thinking we can win."
