Former QPR midfielder Marc Bircham is happy seeing Chris Ramsey given the manager's job.
Ramsey was been handed the post to the end of the season.
Bircham told talkSPORT: "I've known Chris for years and he would be an excellent appointment for the club to take over for the rest of the season.
"He is a football man; he's learned the ropes the hard way during schoolboy, youth team, development and first team football. He has worked his way up.
"He's a lovely bloke, very knowledgeable, and hopefully he can get the lads on his side and keep the team in the division."
